The councillor for Infrastructure and Works, Diego José Jiménez, the area director, Mari Ángeles Ramos, and municipal technicians visited the school in San Luis de Sabinillas to check on the progress of its extension works.

The Town Hall wants to keep a close eye on the weekly pace of work, as it wishes to meet the completion deadlines, estimated for mid-March.
It should be remembered that the amount allocated by the Town Hall for these works is €631,151.51.

The works consist of extending the school with five more classrooms and creating an open-plan space that can be used for various purposes, such as theatre, a common activity area or other types of events, all with a new exterior exit.

The councillor regretted not having been able to open the extension at the start of the school year, as the construction company had promised, and he is relying on the signed deadlines, by which the works must be completed within several months.

Both the councillor and the municipal technicians will continue the daily monitoring of one of the main works of this term of office.
