We Andalusians celebrate our big day next Tuesday 28 February. As every year, the Culture department of Manilva Town Hall has prepared a festive programme that will take place on Calle Mar.
The official ceremony will begin at 12 noon, when the mayor, Mario Jiménez, accompanied by the council members, will raise the flag to the sound of the Anthem of Andalucía, performed by the Municipal School of Music, Dance and Theatre, with Luisana providing sign language interpretation.
The group of teachers from the aforementioned school, under the direction of Fernando Antiñolo, will then give a concert together with the choir.
At around 13:00 the Flamenco Ensemble of the School of Music, Dance and Theatre will perform, and at around 16:00 a concert by Ernesto Márquez will liven up this important festive day.
The wine of our town will also be one of the undisputed stars of the celebration, as the department, headed by Alba Jiménez, has organised a tasting for all attendees.
