The mayor of Manilva and head of the Urban Planning department, José Manuel Fernández, has held an important meeting with municipal technical and legal staff and business people to address one main project: subsidised housing (Viviendas de Protección Oficial, VPO).
The mayor, aware of the need among families and young people in our town to buy a home with easier payment terms, has begun these meetings to find out the situation regarding municipal land and, from there, to take steps towards making this a possibility.
Although this was only the first contact, the town planning option will continue to be studied through reports from Town Hall professionals.
