Manilva Municipal Swimming Pool sports complex is undergoing work that will complete the improvements carried out at the facilities some months ago.
The Infrastructure and Works department and the Sports department, as councillor Diego José Jiménez reports, are currently renewing the paving around the perimeter of the swimming pool, as well as the access ramp to the sports complex.
As a reminder, before the start of the summer season the pool basin itself and the machinery room were also renovated, among other work, so once this project is finished the facilities will be in perfect condition for users to enjoy.
Both councillor Diego José Jiménez and the Sports councillor, Manolo Gil, have visited the site with municipal technicians to check the start of the work.
The municipal representatives stressed their firm commitment to sport, as it directly benefits residents, and they reviewed all the sports facilities that have been renovated in the municipality, as well as those added in recent times.
This work is starting precisely now, as a period of lower use of the facilities by the public begins, so users will be affected only minimally.
