This morning, a special task force of around 200 Guardia Civil officers carried out a joint operation in Estepona, Valderrubio and Manilva against cannabis trafficking, searching several homes.
Sources close to the case have confirmed to Manilva WebSite that the operation resulted in around 10 arrests and the seizure of half a tonne of cannabis.
The investigations were carried out by Guardia Civil officers from Málaga and Granada in coordination with officers from OCON-SUR (Body for Coordination Against Drug Trafficking), which operates throughout the Campo de Gibraltar.
