The registration period is now open for three new training courses, launched by the Training and Employment Promotion departments of Manilva Town Hall, headed by Marcos Ruiz. They are Industries Derived from Grapes and Wine, 530 hours, starting on 20 February; Business Financing, 630 hours, scheduled to start on 1 March; and Document and Administrative Support in Offices, 750 hours, which will begin on 27 March.
These training opportunities form part of the 17 courses with professional certification (certificado de profesionalidad) run by Manilva Town Hall, whose range is the broadest and most ambitious of any town hall in Andalucía.
To apply, candidates must be registered with the SAE (Andalusian Employment Service), although not necessarily as unemployed, and must hold the qualifications required for each Professional Certificate (depending on whether it is level 1, 2 or 3). Priority groups will also be given consideration, as established in the regulations.
Applicants must fill in an application form from the Junta de Andalucía, which can be obtained at the Training Centre in Sabinillas, at the Aula Guadalinfo or by email at formacion@ayto-manilva.com, fomento@ayto-manilva.com and guadalinfo.manilva@guadalinfo.es .
These courses benefit from a significant number of grants. Firstly, those who meet the requirements set by the Junta de Andalucía could receive aid of more than 700€ and up to 2000€. Independently of this, Manilva Town Hall will award each person on the municipal register (padrón) 5 euros per teaching day (440€ in total), provided that the professional certificate is completed with the minimum requirements for obtaining the qualification.
These courses are aimed at residents of the town and the surrounding area, and are a unique opportunity to train for a profession with a future and an official qualification.
Full details of each course can be found on the website: www.empleomanilva.com .
