The mayor of Manilva has made the necessary arrangements to meet in person with the head of the Guardia Civil, María Gámez.
The Director General of the force will receive Manilva’s mayor in Madrid, taking advantage of his schedule for Fitur, to discuss matters of interest to the municipality.
Jiménez will once again stress the need for the Guardia Civil barracks in Manilva to become a main station.
It should be remembered that at the last online meeting, held in April, Gámez committed to making this change with everything it entails: increasing the number of officers, providing administrative services and public service, and handling bureaucratic procedures.
According to the local mayor: «our residents deserve the highest level of security in the municipality and although the Local Police do a great job, reinforcement with more Guardia Civil officers would mean having more personnel and therefore more resources in every sense,» he said.
