Although the cleaning service is working extremely well, the councillor responsible for the area, Paqui López, has said that more equipment and machinery is still to arrive in order to complete the service and improve it even further.

This is the case with the new street sweepers, which will shortly begin work on the streets of the municipality. The investment is completed with pressure washers, scrubber machines, street washing and refuse lorries, bin washers and mopeds for the street sweepers.

The important thing, said López, is that we have made a leap in quality in the service, and now, with more staff and machinery, we can tackle the cleaning with every guarantee that our streets, squares, corners and promenades are in perfect condition.

For his part, the mayor, Mario Jiménez, concluded by saying: «this commitment by the Government Team is bearing fruit and we can see that our municipal area is cleaner and tidier, as befits a primarily tourist area for which image is fundamental».
