Following the success of the basic-level introductory acrylic course, included in the 1st edition of the programme “Iníciate y haz de ello tu profesión” (“Get started and make it your profession”), launched by the Social Welfare and Training departments, headed by Paqui López and Marcos Ruiz, it has been decided to run an extension of the course for the young women who could not take part owing to a lack of places.
The area director, Pilar Zúñiga, was very pleased with the progress of this new edition of the basic-level course, which has been in great demand and will allow young people aged between 16 and 19 to obtain specific training.
Councillor Marcos Ruiz pointed to the importance of carrying out this type of initiative in local businesses, and announced that the 2nd edition of this training programme will be launched shortly.
Registration can be made at the Edificio de Usos Múltiples (Multipurpose Building) or at the Training Centre in Sabinillas. Places are limited and those interested will need to pay a deposit of 20€, which will be returned once they complete the course satisfactorily.
