The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and the councillor for the Training and Employment Promotion department, Marcos Ruiz, held a press conference to give details of the training courses leading to professional certificates.

The courses have been very well received by students. Some very interesting ones have already been held and others are under way, such as Auxiliary Operations in Administrative and General Services, Production of Wines and Liqueurs, Management Assistance, and Administrative Management Operations.

For next October, anyone interested can now register for any of these six courses:
– Data and document entry and processing operations.
– Administrative activities in customer relations.
– Document and management support in offices.
– Integrated human resources management.
– Business financing.
– Sommelier skills.

It should be remembered that these are courses offered by the Junta de Andalucía, with professional certificates for unemployed people, which the Town Hall has succeeded in bringing to our town.

To take these courses, applicants must be registered with the SAE as jobseekers and hold the qualifications required for each of the professional certificates (depending on whether they are level 1, 2 or 3). Priority groups will also be given attention, as established in the regulations.

Applicants must complete a standard Junta de Andalucía application form, which can be obtained at the Centro de Formación de Sabinillas, at the Aula Guadalinfo or by email at formacion@ayto-manilva.com, fomento@ayto-manilva.com and guadalinfo.manilva@guadalinfo.es.

Participating students may apply for the grants or scholarships established by the Junta de Andalucía. Independently of this, Manilva Town Hall will give each person on the municipal register (padrón) €5 for each day of class, provided that they complete the professional certificate with the minimum requirements for obtaining the qualification.

These courses are aimed at residents of the town and the surrounding area, and are a unique opportunity to train for a profession with a future and an official qualification.

Manilva Town Hall continues to work to train all residents who are unemployed so that they can more easily enter the job market.
