Cleaning councillor Paqui López informs residents that they can now use the new rubbish bins located throughout the municipality.
The councillor particularly asks that the old bins are not used, as they will be gradually removed, and that the new ones are used without leaving any disposable waste around them.
Although the process is expected to be as quick as possible, it will depend on public cooperation.
As a reminder, there are 250 new bins with metal, fireproof containers and a capacity of 3,000 litres, which is three times the capacity of the current ones.
These new models, which considerably improve the appearance of the streets, have two-sided collection and, because of their weight, cannot be moved by the wind, one of the problems encountered with the current bins.
