Manilva Town Hall has published in the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Málaga (BOP, the Official Gazette of the Province of Málaga) the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the call for four new Local Police posts, as part of the process of expanding the municipality’s police force.
According to mayoral resolution number 2026-0767, signed on 4 May, more than 140 applicants have been provisionally admitted to the process, while four candidates have been excluded for various administrative reasons.
The excluded applicants now have a period of ten working days to correct the errors identified. If they fail to do so properly and within the deadline, they will be definitively excluded from the selection process.
Second call in a few weeks
This publication corresponds to the call for four Local Police posts recently announced in the BOE (Official State Gazette), which are in addition to the three posts whose provisional list of admitted applicants was published a few days ago, also in the BOP of Málaga.
In that first call, for three posts, the Town Hall registered more than 150 admitted applicants and 8 provisionally excluded, reflecting the high level of interest both selection processes are generating.
Aim: to strengthen the Local Police
The new posts form part of Manilva Town Hall’s plan to strengthen the police force during the current term of office. The Town Hall itself recently announced that its intention is to reach a call for up to fifteen Local Police posts in order to improve safety and strengthen the municipality’s public services.
The full lists can be consulted both on the municipal noticeboard and on the Manilva Town Hall electronic office website.
