The mayor of Manilva and also head of Public Safety, Mario Jiménez, along with the First Deputy Mayor, Diego José Jiménez, have held an important meeting with José Manuel Santiago Marín, Chief of Staff of the Guardia Civil.
In this online meeting, issues relating to security in our municipality were discussed. On the one hand, the governing team continues to focus on its main objective in this area, which is none other than for Manilva to become a main Guardia Civil station, a process that is moving forward.
Another of the issues discussed was the necessary reinforcement of the security force ahead of the summer months, bearing in mind the exponential population growth our municipality experiences at this time of year, and the usual large-scale events that the various departments have scheduled for the summer season.
According to the municipal officials, the meeting was very productive, and although the bureaucratic process is slow, work continues so that the final objective becomes a reality.
