One of the essential services offered to residents is transport, so a trade such as the taxi sector is in a permanent process of improvement.
With the upgrading of the infrastructure at the Sabinillas taxi rank, Manilva Town Hall, through its mayor, Mario Jiménez, is very clear that: «A predominantly tourist municipality needs this service to be exceptional, as many people require it, including our own residents, who regularly travel to the various districts or housing estates», he said.
As well as considerably improving their facilities, contact is also maintained and meetings are held with those in charge, as is the case with the one they have held with the mayor, with the aim of listening to their demands and proposals. Municipal technicians and the area director, Alejandro Medina, were also present.
Jiménez said that positive conclusions are always drawn from these meetings because we learn first-hand what the concerns are of these professionals who work on the street and where we can improve.
It is important to highlight that the volume of work they are experiencing indicates not only that the municipality remains an unbeatable tourist destination, but also that the economic trend is returning to the figures recorded before the pandemic.
