As usual, the governing team meets regularly to review current municipal affairs and coordinate the various departments ahead of the activities and events that will take place during Holy Week, while keeping the summer in view.

The mayor, Mario Jiménez, and the first deputy mayor, Diego José Jiménez, agreed that this type of meeting is essential so that the departments are in line with what is required at any given time and so that each councillor can put forward their proposals.

The excellent rapport between the local leaders helps them tackle day-to-day work with the necessary determination and meet their shared aim, which is none other than the wellbeing of residents, providing good services, and maintaining, completing and improving infrastructure throughout the municipality.

The most important date before the summer period arrives is Holy Week, when liturgical events will resume with a certain degree of normality. The Town Hall and the local brotherhoods have organised several programmes, in both Manilva and Sabinillas, which can be enjoyed on those days.
