Mar García, a local resident, is in the news again after being selected to compete in the Women’s Four-Nations International Match at Costa Ballena.
The golfer will represent Spain against Denmark, Finland and Sweden, who will compete for the title from 11 to 13 February.

Women’s Four-Nations Match, which takes place from 11 to 13 February and allows participants to test their form ahead of the season.
The competition format features foursomes matches in the morning and singles in the afternoon. All four teams will play each other over the three days.
