Unemployment in the town continues to fall. June, historically a good month in Manilva because of the start of the season, brings a further drop in the unemployment figures in Manilva, with 42 fewer people out of work, taking the total below the thousand mark to 981.
The fall was driven by the hiring of women: unemployment fell by 45 among women, while it rose by 3 among men.
