Manilva Town Hall, in defence of the residents of our town, is preparing a lawsuit against Endesa over the continual power cuts.
The legal department is drawing up a detailed report to denounce an untenable situation affecting hundreds of people.
The interruptions to the electricity supply are causing extensive damage to household appliances. These faults seriously affect industries and businesses in the area, and cause breakdowns in electrical equipment and cuts to telephone and internet services.
In addition, signatures will be collected from everyone who wishes to add theirs, to be attached to the complaint.
People will be able to submit their signatures at the municipal registry offices, and forms will also be distributed from Monday in establishments and shops in the three urban centres and Puerto de la Duquesa.
The Town Hall will once again demand a detailed investment plan with planning that will definitively solve these problems.
