The mayor, Mario Jiménez, accompanied by José Carlos Castaños Alés, Coordinator of Development and Local Promotion, has signed the 2021 Provincial Assistance and Cooperation Plan and attended the online meeting.
According to the mayor: «any assistance that comes to Manilva to improve infrastructure and services for residents is always welcome; for that reason, in this case, I thank Málaga Provincial Council for this funding,» he said.
Of the total amount of the Plan, €605,881.56, €471,921.95 has been allocated, together with a municipal contribution of €112,500, to the project «redevelopment and beautification of the Sabinillas promenade, phase 2″. An exceptional project that will give our town a modern promenade with new infrastructure and many opportunities for our businesspeople and shopkeepers.
€133,959.61 will go to unconditional funds. €14,000 will go to the georeferenced inventory of publicly owned infrastructure and sites suitable for housing telecommunications networks, as part of the Plan Málaga Inteligente to which the municipality of Manilva has signed up.
The commitments between the Provincial Council and the Town Hall regarding basic sports activities have also been maintained.
