The space, located in the Centro Polivalente Puerta del Mar on calle Panamá in Sabinillas, will open its doors at 17:00 with a welcome picnic and a range of leisure, entertainment and group work activities.
Manilva Town Hall, through the Youth department, will open the new Youth Centre (Casa de la Juventud) on Friday 6 November. It is a municipal space designed as a meeting point for young people in the municipality.
The Youth Centre will offer a variety of resources for leisure, entertainment and socialising. These include a television with wireless headphones, board games, pool, table football and PlayStation and Nintendo Switch games consoles.
The space will also have computers and shared work tables, with the aim of making other activities possible beyond leisure, such as studying, working in groups or sharing projects and initiatives.
A new space for the young people of Manilva
The launch of these facilities seeks to offer young people a place of their own in which to meet, socialise and enjoy their free time, as well as to encourage participation and community spirit.
The Youth department stresses the importance of having spaces adapted to the interests of young people, where they can carry out activities and share experiences in a common setting.
With this opening, the Town Hall adds a new facility aimed at the young people of Manilva, which aspires to become a point of reference for meeting and social interaction.
The Youth department encourages young people in the municipality to take part in the opening day on Friday 6 November and discover the new Youth Centre, which will open at 17:00 at the Centro Polivalente Puerta del Mar in Sabinillas.
