Manilva Local Police officers have taken part in a practical course on Taser devices, training designed to reinforce and update municipal officers’ knowledge of how to use this type of police equipment.
During the session, the officers carried out specific practical exercises and looked in greater depth at the procedures and protocols for action associated with the use of these devices in those interventions where their use may be necessary.
The Town Hall says that this type of training is part of the Local Police’s ongoing updating process and allows officers to keep their knowledge of regulations, police techniques and operating procedures up to date.
The training also seeks to improve officers’ ability to respond to the different situations that may arise in the course of their duties, with the aim of providing a professional service adapted to the needs of residents.
The mayor of Manilva and head of the Public Safety department, Mario Jiménez, welcomed the continuation of this type of training initiative and highlighted the importance of officers keeping their knowledge up to date and having the necessary preparation to carry out their interventions.
The initiative is therefore part of the training and updating activities for Manilva Local Police officers.
