Once again we can enjoy Manilva’s traditional August fair, with a programme full of activities and performances for all audiences and ages. It begins on Wednesday 7 August with the switching-on of the lights and ends with a performance by «Toreros con Chanclas» on Sunday 11 August at 00:30.
Manilva Town Hall has laid on a free bus service to the fair, with the following timetable and route:
Timetable: From 22:15 until the fair closes at 6:15.
Route: The bus will follow this route: Manilva (Civima), El Castillo (N-340 bus stop), Sabinillas (stop next to Carrefour) and the fairground.

Wednesday, 7 August
- 22:30 Opening of the «August Fair», with the switching-on of the lights, at the fairground.
- Afterwards, opening speech by Pepi Valenzuela Cuevas, president of the «Asociación de Pensionistas de Manilva».
- At the Caseta de la Juventud (youth marquee), resident DJs «Turbo» and «Pájaro» will be playing the best current hits all night.
Thursday, 8 August
- 22:30 Music and dancing in the «Caseta Municipal» (municipal marquee), with the band «Latidos»
- 00:00 Big performance by «Juanlu Montoya». After the performance, the band «Latidos» will continue to entertain through the night.
- 00:00 At the Caseta de la Juventud, resident DJs «Turbo» and «Pájaro» will be playing the best current hits all night.
Friday, 9 August
- 21:30 Big children’s show «Disnemanía». The musical with songs from Disney films, in the Caseta Municipal.
- 22:30 Music and dancing in the «Caseta Municipal», with the band «Latidos»
- 00:00 Big performance by the flamenco group «El Callejón»
- 02:00 Performance by the group «Comando Banderas».
After the performance, the band «Latidos» will continue to entertain through the night.
At the Caseta de la Juventud, resident DJs «Turbo» and «Pájaro» will be playing the best current hits all night.
Saturday, 10 August
- 20:00 Float Parade and Street Procession through the main streets of the Manilva village centre, with music from the «Charanga de Cádiz» and DJ «Pollo»
- 22:30 Music and dancing in the «Caseta Municipal», with the band «Latidos»
- 00:00 Performance by the group «Barrieros del Sur», a tribute to «El Barrio»
- 02:00 Performance by the group «Compás Flamenco», who will entertain everyone attending.
After the performance, the band «Latidos» will continue to entertain through the night.
At the Caseta de la Juventud, resident DJs «Turbo» and «Pájaro» will be playing the best current hits all night.
Sunday, 11 August
- 19:30 Float Parade and Street Procession through the main streets of the El Castillo area, continuing through the streets of San Luis de Sabinillas, with music from the «Charanga de Cádiz» and DJ «Pollo»
- 22:30 Music and dancing in the Caseta Municipal, with the band «Latidos»
- 00:30 Big performance by «Toreros con Chanclas».
After the performance, the band «Latidos» will continue to entertain through the night.
At the Caseta de la Juventud, resident DJs «Turbo» and «Pájaro» will be playing the best current hits all night.
