Today we bring you up to date on a new initiative that will be launched in Manilva town for the last weekend of April.
It is the Spring Festival, which the Festivals department of the Town Hall is already preparing.
According to the head of the department, Daniel Muñoz, «intensive work is under way to offer a wide programme of activities for the coming dates». The Spring Festival will be aimed at families and seeks to create a 1960s atmosphere, where each activity also helps local businesses.
Manilva Dreaming will have a «Flower Power» theme that will take everyone who attends back to the 1960s, with a wide programme including several concerts and markets where this symbol of the hippies and of the ideology of non-violence will take centre stage.
