The Infrastructure and Public Works department of Manilva Town Hall and Hidralia, the company that manages the drinking water supply, are continually improving the service provided to residents.
On this occasion, both the councillor for this area, Diego José Jiménez, and the head of Hidralia’s service in our municipality, Sergio Ruiz, visited the fairground, located next to the Manilva river, to check the work being carried out on one of the two wells in this area.
The work has consisted of replacing the pump, which was not in the best condition due to the passage of time, and which will improve the operation of the well and the quality of the supply.
Our municipality has three wells of its own for the water supply, two of them located at the fairground, plus the one on Camino del Panderón, which, as they explained to us, have benefited from the recent rainfall.
Both highlighted the good understanding and coordination between the department and the managing company when it comes to permanently caring for and maintaining the water infrastructure across the municipality.
