The Local Police station in San Luis de Sabinillas opens its doors to offer its services to the public.
Located in the Usos Múltiples building, with its own separate entrance, it will have an officer and a security guard who will assist the public and handle administrative procedures such as reports, applications, permits, inquiries, statements and different types of police report, etc.
The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and councillors Manolo Gil, Eva Galindo and Paqui López attended the site.
This area has a considerable population, which doubles in summer, so this service was very much needed.
The mayor said: «The aim is to share out responsibilities in order to bring the public security force closer to the population and to make access convenient, quick and effective.»
Public opening hours will be from 8.30 to 14.30, Monday to Friday.
