Rincón de la Victoria will host the final gala of Miss Mundo Málaga and Mister Internacional Málaga on 4 June, where James Adams, a 24-year-old physical education student, will be Manilva’s representative.
The Málaga delegation of Miss Mundo and Míster Internacional España has expressed its satisfaction «at holding in Rincón de la Victoria the most important provincial pageants, which return after two years because of COVID-19».
The winners of the provincial gala on 4 June will represent Málaga at Míster Internacional España and Miss Mundo España, which will take place just two weeks later in Pineda de Mar (Barcelona).
Málaga is home to the country’s current official most handsome man, Alexander Calvo, a resident of Rincón de la Victoria, who, together with the current Miss Mundo Málaga, Blanca Aguilera, will hand over the baton to the new representatives of beauty on the Costa del Sol.
Miss Mundo is the longest-running pageant and, together with Miss Universo, one of the two major pageants worldwide. Both franchises belong to the company Nuestra Belleza España, which operates the brand in the country.
Míster Internacional España is the male beauty contest that currently attracts the most press coverage, and its winner is sent to an international contest (Míster Mundo, Manhunt Internacional or Míster Model Internacional).
