The Sports councillor, Manolo Gil, visited the «Las Viñas» municipal football pitch in Manilva to see first-hand the initial work to lay the turf, once the preparatory work on the surface had been completed.
Replacing the artificial turf was necessary as it was badly worn.
A few days ago, at a meeting with the contractor, a date of the end of September was set, provided there are no setbacks, after which the final details will be defined so that the pitch can be brought into service for residents.
The arrival of the artificial turf marks another step in this important project.
