Calle Mar in Manilva will have a more fitting appearance following its recent remodelling. The Public Works and Infrastructure department is replacing the balustrade that gives access to the area formerly known as «el Grupo».

According to the councillor responsible for the area, Diego José Jiménez, the work will help to unify the look of the street. Once the existing railing has been removed, a new wrought-iron one on brick pillars will be installed, similar to those already seen on calle Álvarez Leiva, calle Pósito and calle Isidoro.

The councillor himself and the mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, were overseeing the work. The mayor praised the great job being done by the Public Works department.
Both council officials are committed to boosting the local economy, giving full support to Manilva companies through these tenders.

Once the work is finished, this busy area of the municipality will have a renewed appearance with a predominantly uniform look.
