A new batch of grants was handed out today to local business owners who have started up their businesses in recent months. The grants are part of the Support Plan for the self-employed and micro-SMEs approved by the governing team with a budget of 200,000 €.

As municipal officials noted, it is a great satisfaction to be able to give a boost to the launch of these new businesses and to encourage entrepreneurship within the municipality.

The councillor responsible for the Commerce department, Francisco Becerra, explained that 13 grants were handed out today and that, together with those already received by our new traders a few weeks ago, the total comes to 20 new business owners who are being supported by the Town Hall.

It should be remembered that the amount of the grants ranges between 5,000 and 7,000 €, depending on variables such as age or the location of the business within the municipality.

The first deputy mayor, Diego José Jiménez, wished to offer particular congratulations to the head of the department for the excellent work he is carrying out in charge of it.

It is worth recalling that the first grants under the Support Plan for the self-employed were handed out a few weeks ago. The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, was very pleased to be able to lend a hand to our entrepreneurs, in order to continue strengthening the business fabric and job creation.
