Everything is ready for a day of football full of excitement with the installation of a giant screen in the Huerto park, in El Castillo de la Duquesa, so that residents and visitors can watch live the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.
The initiative has been launched by Manilva Town Hall, through the Commerce department, with the aim of providing a meeting point for fans and boosting business at the hospitality venues in the area.
Following the earlier events in Sabinillas and Manilva, where similar spaces were set up to enjoy the Spanish national team’s matches, this new location will allow residents of El Castillo to join in the atmosphere too and support the national side together at a historic event.
The Town Hall stresses that activities of this kind seek to encourage community spirit and create spaces for public participation, as well as benefiting local shops and hospitality businesses during a day of great sporting interest.
In addition, the Media department, headed by Juan Carlos Morejón, will join in on the day by handing out 400 T-shirts among those attending so that support for the Spanish team is visible during the match.
