Since yesterday, Manilva Town Hall has activated the emergency plan to monitor local infrastructure and to ensure that the rain the municipality is receiving does not hinder residents’ movement.
The Infrastructure and Works and Cleaning departments, headed by councillors Diego José Jiménez and Paqui López, have coordinated the work needed to prevent the municipality from being affected.
The areas of greatest concern are those next to the Manilva river and the streams, although the Town Hall urges caution in any area where passage is difficult.
The operation will remain active for as long as the rain persists.
