The Governing Team has held an emergency meeting to assess the new measures imposed by the Junta de Andalucía and to analyse in particular the situation in our town.
With a sense of responsibility and the sole, overriding aim of protecting the health of residents and curbing infections, it has been decided to extend the measures at municipal level.
From this Monday, 18 January until 1 February:
* Members of the public will only be allowed access to the registry office and the front counters of public buildings.
* Sporting activity inside facilities is suspended.
* Gyms, libraries, museums and Guadalinfo are closed.
* Children’s playgrounds are closed.
* 50% passenger capacity on public transport.
* The music, dance and theatre school will move online.
* Courses are cancelled in the Social Affairs and Culture departments.
* Municipal public fountains will be sealed off.
These measures are in addition to those adopted by the Junta de Andalucía, so, given the current infection rate, the municipality of Manilva will be perimeter-closed.
The Town Hall insists on taking extreme precautions and following the measures as the only way to curb the virus.
