The election of the Virgen del Carmen Queen and Ladies 2023 will take place on 17 June in the fishermen’s quarter of Sabinillas.
From 20:00, the event will feature a fashion show, with the collaboration of the local shop Tempus, and a flamenco fashion show, featuring the shop of Pepi Alonso from Estepona.
The Culture department, run by acting councillor Alba Jiménez at Manilva Town Hall, is collaborating in the event.
After the ceremony, the music group “Malahora” and DJ Pollo will provide the entertainment for the night. In addition, a bar with popular prices will be set up, run by the Hermandad de la Virgen del Carmen y San Luis de Sabinillas.
Finally, the organisers, who are part of the Hermandad de la Virgen del Carmen de Sabinillas, have announced that on that day the draw will be held for the boat that will carry Nuestra Señora del Carmen along the coast on 16 July.
