After fifteen years, the crane at the housing complex on Muro Aguilar street in Manilva is being dismantled.
Thanks to the urban planning policy proposed by the councillor responsible for the area, Marcos Ruiz, it has been possible to carry out this long-awaited action.
During those years, the crane went through a period of maintenance, but by this point, with nobody taking responsibility for its removal, the Town Hall began legal proceedings to demand that responsibilities be established.
The investment fund responsible for the development contacted the council to take charge of the dismantling, which will be completed during the course of today.
Mario Jiménez, mayor of Manilva, who accompanied the councillor to check on the work, agreed that removing the crane improves the image of the municipality, eliminates the danger it posed and marks a new step towards the revival of the area.
