The Government Team, firm in its decision to significantly improve the cleaning service, continues to take the necessary steps, in accordance with the law, so that the planned improvements can be put into effect as soon as possible.
This morning, the mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and the Cleaning department councillor once again took part in a contracting board meeting, which will be the last before the proposal is taken to the council meeting.
Also present were the secretary, the chief financial officer and municipal technicians, as well as representatives of the companies that chose to attend.
Based on the technicians’ report assessing the bids, the contracting board has proposed awarding the contract to the Joint Venture (UTE): FCC Medio Ambiente, S.A.U-FCC Equal CEE Andalucía, S.L-Cabello y Servilimpsa S.L, which, together with the companies’ proposals and the minutes, is being submitted to the council meeting.
From here, it will be the Town Hall’s highest decision-making body, the council meeting, that ranks the bids submitted and accepts the proposal so that the contracting procedure can continue.
According to both the local mayor and the councillor, we are convinced, and hopeful, that this commitment will be the definitive one to considerably improve cleanliness in our town.
