Compromiso Manilva’s municipal group is taking a motion to tomorrow’s ordinary council meeting asking for the approval process for the Internal Development Plan (PERI) for the Colonia Infantil in Sabinillas to continue.
“It is necessary for our municipality and our residents to open up to the town all of these public facilities, such as the open areas, which today can only be enjoyed privately, not forgetting the creation of a road and pedestrian link along the whole coastal strip, joining Sabinillas and the Puerto de la Duquesa”, says the CM spokesperson, Mario Jiménez.
The proposal states that there are more than 36,000 m2 of open spaces and 2,200 m2 of public facilities.
It also proposed creating 233 parking spaces located on streets and in two parking areas, as well as 206 underground parking spaces to be built beneath the boulevard.
“It should be remembered that the urban fabric along our coastline in the area between Sabinillas and the Puerto de la Duquesa has been interrupted for decades by the Unicaja facilities at the well-known colonia infantil”, Jiménez explains.
For all of the above, in this motion Compromiso Manilva proposes that the relevant environmental document be attached to the progress of the PERI, which has already been approved at a Manilva council meeting, and sent to the Junta to begin the strategic environmental assessment.
While this document is being processed, the Town Hall is urged to start working on an improved document.
Finally, the project also includes an access road by means of a roundabout near Mercadona or in the Peñoncillo area.
Por más que observo los planos, no encuentro el parque por ningún sitio, sólo una fuente y cuatro árboles desperdigados entre bloques de pisos.
No vendais el proyecto como algo necesario para la zona, la zona está bien como está y paseo marítimo ya existe; decid mejor que es una zona con potencial para llenar las arcas municipales.
Y si para arreglar un trozo de pavimento del paseo habéis tardado un año, esta obra amenaza con amargarnos lo que nos queda de vida.
