Compromiso Manilva held its Local Assembly this afternoon, at which the candidacy for the municipal elections of 28 May was approved unanimously.
The list will be headed by the current mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, who will be accompanied by the team as he seeks to be re-elected as mayor.
“I have a great team of men and women who are loyal and committed to the residents of Manilva: honest, committed, hard-working, good people, who are going to give their all for their town, as many of them have done in recent years”.
The candidate for mayor for Compromiso Manilva said that “we have combined experience, with members of the current municipal government, and new faces joining municipal management. Mario Jiménez stated that “this is a candidacy that is ready to continue governing; we have people with experience in public management, who know how to manage public resources well”, he added.
The Compromiso Manilva candidate also took the opportunity to thank the colleagues who have been left off the list for their work, their conduct and their understanding: “putting it together has not been an easy task”.
Regarding the election campaign, Jiménez said that “we are going to focus solely on letting our neighbours know the government proposals so that Manilva continues to move forward”.
