The children’s playground in Villa Matilde is undergoing a complete refurbishment so that the town’s youngsters have a place to enjoy with the highest safety guarantees.

The councillor for Parks and Gardens, Francisco Becerra, not only highlighted the enhancement of such an important area, but also stressed that the full refurbishment of the playground involves replacing the rubber flooring, as well as installing new play equipment for the enjoyment of the youngest residents.

The councillor in charge of this department also highlighted the improvements being made to the town’s various leisure areas, such as the work that will be carried out at the La Noria children’s playground.

Becerra hopes to finish the work at the Villa Matilde children’s playground by the end of April, weather permitting.

It should be noted that, once these works are completed, the refurbishment will continue with the children’s playgrounds in the Plaza de la Vendimia and in Pozo del Rey, in Manilva pueblo.
