Christmas is on its way to Manilva, and with it the excitement of sharing the magic of the festive season with fellow residents. The Fiestas department has launched a new edition of the Christmas competition «Decora tu pueblo por Navidad» («Decorate your town for Christmas»), inviting all residents to dress their façades and balconies with their most creative Christmas spirit.
Bring your home to life and win a Christmas hamper!
Do you have a special touch for decorating? This competition is for you! All people with municipal registration (padrón) in Manilva may take part. An expert jury will assess the originality, Christmas themes, lighting and materials used in each decoration. The top three entries will receive Christmas hampers.
How to take part
Register before 8 December: You can do so in person at the Fiestas department of Manilva Town Hall or by sending an email to fiestas@ayto-manilva.com with your details and the address of the property you are entering.
Let your imagination run wild: Decorate your façade and balcony with the most Christmassy elements you can think of. There are no limits to creativity!
Be original! The jury will give special credit to the most original and elaborate decorations and will choose the winners.
A jury appointed by the Fiestas department will visit the participating homes between 11 and 15 December to assess the decorations. The winners will be announced between 20 and 22 December and will receive their prizes at a public ceremony.
Don’t miss out on this initiative, and help make Manilva the most Christmassy town on the Costa del Sol!
