After waiting more than a year to enjoy this performance, which had to be cancelled because of COVID-19, the time has come to enjoy Comandante Lara y Cía.
The comedy show is aimed mainly at adults and will take place next Sunday 27 June at the Parque del Huerto in El Castillo de la Duquesa, starting at 22:00.
The bill will be headlined by Luis Lara, known as Comandante Lara, one of the best-known comedians in Spain today. He will be joined by the comedian Vicente Ruidos, whose speciality is imitating the countless noises we hear in our everyday lives, hence his stage name. Jesús Tapia will also appear.
This performance will be the first in a programme of events that will take place in our municipality throughout the summer, organised by the Culture, Fairs and Festivals, and Tourism departments. On this occasion, the Culture department, headed by Alba Jiménez, will be responsible for coordinating the show.
Tickets are free and can be obtained from tomorrow, Monday 21 June. Two sessions have been set up: one for those on the municipal register (padrón) and another for those who are not.
Those on the municipal register (padrón) can collect them on 21, 22 and 23 June, and those who are not on 24 and 25 June, on all these days from 8:00 to 14:30.
To do so, you must call the Culture department on 619 726 599 – 619 726 628, or go to the department’s office at Calle Doctor Álvarez Leiva s/n (CIVIMA).
Please note that a maximum of 4 tickets can be reserved per person.
It has been a great challenge for this department to be able to resume all the events that were cancelled because of the pandemic. For this reason, Alba Jiménez, the Culture councillor, is pleased with the work carried out and proud to be able to finally enjoy these artists in our municipality. She also wished to highlight the wide programme of activities she has already planned for the summer season, which will include shows of various kinds: comedy, copla, jazz, tango, flamenco and blues, among others.
