The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and the councillor for Fiestas, Daniel Muñoz, received the well-known circus director Rody Aragón at the Town Hall, to learn about the leisure offering he is presenting.
With families, and especially the youngest children, in mind, Circo Berlín will be performing from Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 June, with shows at the same time every day: 20:00.
The chosen venue, with all the established safety measures in place, is the former fairground. The big top, which is air-conditioned and has limited capacity, will also be adapted to Covid measures.
Based on social responsibility and the Town Hall’s commitment, the municipal officials have negotiated with the company so that part of its profits go directly to the parent-teacher associations (AMPAS) of the municipality’s three schools and its secondary school. In addition, all pupils will receive a discount on the ticket price. The discount vouchers will be distributed in the schools over the coming days.
Invitations have also been secured so that the children of the Asociación Luisana can see the show.
It should be remembered that circuses with animals are banned in our town by decision of the council meeting, so the show will not feature any animals.
In order to respect public and private spaces, advertising will only be displayed hanging from the street lamps, and in no case stuck on walls. It will be removed once the circus has left our town.
