As we reported in previous weeks, the director Adolfo Dufour, of the documentary «Luis Cernuda, habitante del olvido», accompanied by cameraman Mariano Izquierdo, sound technician Enrique Saavedra, producer Joaquín Recio and José Manuel Cabrera, assistant director, together with the Manilva Town Hall councillor for tourism and beaches, Eva Galindo, visited our town to inspect the filming location in person.
From Tuesday 25 to Thursday 27 May, the crew will be based at Chullera beach. The beach will therefore be closed. The public’s cooperation is requested so that filming can go ahead without problems.
Production of the documentary film “Luis Cernuda, habitante del olvido” began in 2019, following the director and his team’s journey with the documentary “Lo posible y lo necesario”, about Marcelino Camacho, which had a great impact in cinemas and has been broadcast on La2 of TVE and released worldwide on Amazon Prime Video.
The documentary is expected to have a long run in 2022, the 120th anniversary of the Sevillian poet, a universal figure of the Generation of ’27.
The tourism councillor, Eva Galindo, highlighted the importance of this filming in our municipality because of the level of international exposure it brings to Manilva and its beaches.
