This Friday 8 November, from 17:30, the Castillo de la Duquesa will be transformed into a place of fun for the little ones with the After Halloween Party, which had to be cancelled as a sign of mourning for the victims of the DANA.
What better moment for the organisers to step up their enthusiasm and excitement than to announce that all proceeds from ticket sales (3 euros) will go towards helping those affected by the DANA. Specifically, the money will go to the AMPA (parents’ association) of one of the schools worst hit by this disaster, to help them return to normality as soon as possible. Adults can enter free of charge and may make a donation to the cause.
An afternoon full of fun and solidarity
The party will offer a wide variety of activities for children of all ages, such as bouncy castles, entertainment, a haunted house adapted for the youngest, face-painting and mask workshops, a tea-time snack and a prize draw for educational materials. Children with special needs will have priority access to all activities, which have been designed to ensure a calm atmosphere without excessive noise.
Haunted house run by the drama students
From 18:30, the bravest will be able to enjoy the Haunted House, created and performed by students of the Municipal Drama School. Groups will go in on a first-come, first-served basis.
An opportunity to have fun and help
Councillor Fina Gómez invited all residents to take part in this charity party: «It is a perfect opportunity for the children to have fun and, at the same time, for all of us together to help the families affected by the DANA».
