Manilva’s local cycling club is launching a prize draw to showcase the extraordinary surroundings Manilva offers for sporting activity such as mountain biking, trail running and hiking, with countless tracks and a wide variety of paths that combine beach and mountain within a few kilometres.
The draw is open to everyone who finds a plaque marking one of the paths in the area, «El sendero del Mediterráneo» (the Mediterranean path), which takes its name from the impressive views it offers from its highest point. Anyone wishing to take part must take a selfie-style photo, post it on their social media and comment on what they think of Manilva and its surroundings for sport.
The CCManilva is continually maintaining, clearing and improving the various paths in the area so that they are not lost and so that anyone who wishes can continue to enjoy all the natural surroundings the municipality offers for this type of outdoor sport. The club asks for maximum respect and care to help preserve them.

Throughout this year the CCManilva has kept working and, although our marathon could not be held, we have taken the opportunity to keep clearing and recovering old paths and tracks that had been lost in the undergrowth so that we can all keep enjoying our surroundings.
