According to a statement published by Casares Town Hall, both Casares and Manilva are under a perimeter lockdown and, given the continued flow of residents in both directions, it has been decided to take this measure in order to safeguard people’s safety.
They remind all citizens that leaving one’s own municipality is only permitted for essential activities, such as going to the pharmacy or doing the shopping, but not for walks or outdoor leisure.
Officers of both the Casares Local Police and the Manilva Local Police have observed repeated breaches of this perimeter lockdown in recent days, so it has been decided to take this measure to help curb the spread of the virus.
