The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, accompanied by councillors Laura López and Marcos Ruiz, attended the formal ceremony to raise the Blue Flag, an award granted to Puerto de la Duquesa.
Representing Marinas del Mediterráneo, the company that manages the port, were managing director Manuel Raigón; the Group’s director of Operations, Alejandro Suanes, and the team that works at Puerto de La Duquesa.
The port has now flown this award for twenty-five years. It recognises the quality of both the facilities and the services offered by the marina, as well as compliance with a series of environmental and sustainable management requirements.
Raigón thanked the mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and members of his governing team for attending.
The mayor congratulated the managing body on its good work and recalled the Blue Flag awarded to the beach in Sabinillas.
