Today the Bibliopark was inaugurated in the Plaza de la Vendimia and in the Parque del Duque. It is an initiative of the parks and gardens and culture departments of Manilva Town Hall.

Francisco Becerra and Alba Jiménez placed the first books in the booths, which will allow residents to exchange books on a permanent basis.

Residents will be able to take any book home, as long as they return it after reading it so that others can enjoy it too. Book donations can also be made so that this initiative can continue to grow.

As councillor Francisco Becerra said, the aim of this activity is to encourage reading and to ensure that everyone has access to it.

The most important thing is that we all treat the books well, as well as the booth that holds them, since it is everyone’s responsibility to keep this library in good condition.

One of the attractions of the initiative is being able to read seated on one of the benches located around the booths, especially when you can enjoy a sunny day, as is usual in our area.

Councillor Alba Jiménez highlighted that through books we can live a thousand and one adventures, which is why the aim is to bring culture closer to everyone.

From today, residents can therefore use these facilities, which we can all surely make the most of, while also encouraging a love of literature.
