The Foreign Residents department, an area headed by Laura López, has announced the Belgian National Day event, scheduled for 21 and 22 July in the upper car park at Puerto de la Duquesa (calle Chanquete).
The event is organised by QG Belgian beers & Brasserie and the aforementioned department, and will begin at 20:30 with live music, DJ sessions and other surprises.
Those attending will be able to enjoy typical Belgian specialities accompanied, of course, by a selection of the best beers, chips and steamed mussels.
The councillor, who is proud that our town is home to almost a hundred nationalities, hopes that all residents who wish to will also take part on this special day for Belgians, as «cultures enrich us and make us freer, more tolerant and more respectful», she concluded.
