Organised by the Environment, Beaches and Commerce departments, headed by Laura López, Eva Galindo and Francisco Becerra, the Beach Litter Clean-up will take place on Friday 27 August. It will begin at 12:00 and run until 19:00.
The starting point will be the plaza del Cali, where a marquee will be set up and the equipment needed for the collection will be handed out: gloves, cups and bags.
Everyone who wishes to take part in this initiative will receive a merchandising item (rucksacks, beach ashtrays, dispensers for dog waste bags, etc.) for each contribution of waste, such as a cup of cigarette butts, plastic containers, cardboard or glass.
Manilva Town Hall, through the aforementioned departments, considers the involvement of residents in caring for the environment to be essential. For this reason, all these initiatives share the same aim: to look after the world we live in.
