First day of eased restrictions after the move to Level 4 Grade 1, and many businesses in the municipality have reopened, eager to return to their daily activity.

The Junta de Andalucía announced this morning a change to the measures for the whole of Andalucía:
The minimum time a municipality must remain under perimeter closure and/or closure of non-essential activity has been reduced from 14 to 7 days. These measures apply when the cumulative incidence rate exceeds 500 or 1,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants respectively.

Naturally, each municipality affected must have dropped below the «threshold» figures (500 or 1,000) by the tenth day. Otherwise, the restrictions must remain in place until lower figures have been guaranteed.

In addition, the regional alert committees will now meet and assess these local rates only on Thursdays, dropping the Monday date that until now completed the weekly analysis.

As a result, municipalities will apply the new restrictions every Saturday at midnight, following publication in the BOJA (the Andalusian official gazette) on the Friday.

The Regional Department of Health and Families, in collaboration with the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalucía, has published today’s data for Wednesday 10 February, with 8 new positive cases and 28 recoveries. The number of active cases over the last 14 days therefore falls to 134, and the active incidence over the last 14 days drops from 936.8 to 815.1 (cases per 100,000 inhabitants). The total number of confirmed cases in Manilva since the start of the pandemic now stands at 768 people, with 12 deaths.

As for the cumulative incidence over the last 7 days, it rises from 340.65 to 346.73 (positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants).

As of today, Wednesday 10 February, the active cases over the last 14 days are:
